Siringo: Fitzburn sends only one man? Seems you are pretty good in catching criminals.I have a very sensitive task for you. You need to track down the "Robin Hood Outlaw": Jesse James. I know, people love him for all the stories of fighting against the Union. But anyway, he is dangerous. We need to get hold of him before something terrible happens. We've got a hunch that the James-Younger gang is planning to rob the Davies County Savings Association. Get some men and position them around the bank.
Finish
Siringo: You can't be serious! Jesse and his gang escaped through the back door. They are drawing a red herring across our track.

Siringo: Ahw, no way, the newspapers are full of stories regarding Jesse and his deeds. Word of his spectacular flight from the bank is all over the state. We know that Jesse is working closely with a guy called John Edwards from the Western Star. Get to the Newspaper Agency. Work there as a printer. You will get a chance to talk to Edwards. Be sure to bring and equip a bottle of Vodka to loosen his tongue. It's his favorite. Maybe he can give us some information about what the outlaw is planning to do next.
Finish
Siringo: Haha. You've made that journalist so drunk that he sang like a bird. We now know where Jesse will hit next!

Siringo: Enough is enough! Obviously it is not sufficient to just appear on the sites of Jesse James' crimes. We have to set up a trap. The national bank has the largest sum of money in its safe. It will no doubt become a target of the gang sooner or later. To catch the James-Younger gang, we will have to set up something that will cause Jesse to make a few unexpected moves: a time bomb on the safe maybe. To craft a time bomb, you need a timer and a clock. Use this to craft some dynamite.
Finish
Siringo: Well done, a proper time bomb. The bomb has been placed in the bank. Time to wait for the gang to hit. Once they see the bomb they will panic and do something unexpected. I just know it.

Siringo: We were able to imprison Cole Younger and interrogate him. Younger claims that Jesse got paranoid and unpredictable. After the law started putting immense pressure on him, he began to become suspicious of anybody near him. He even accused those close to him of trying to ransom him to the authorities.Younger claims that Jesse killed one of his gang members by pushing him into a swamp full of alligators. Can you have a look and see if you can find something? Searching a swamp full of crocodiles for clues can take some time.
Finish
Siringo: Oh my god... What is this??? Then it is true! Jesse is after his own gang. With our efforts, we managed to crush the gang and make him suspect everybody to be a snitch. The only members left are petty criminals and scoundrels. The former fame of the gang is a thing of the past.

Siringo: Jesse seems to have a mole in his gang. We have solid hints from Younger that somebody is trying to assassinate Jesse. The whole gang is afraid of him and his paranoia. We need this outlaw alive. Time to bust the mole. Younger has Bob Ford, a newbie in the gang under suspicion. He's seen Bob going to the trading office uncommonly often.
Finish
Siringo: A pay slip! It is addressed to Bob Ford. Ford is a newbie in the gang. He once idolized Jesse. Obviously, Jesse did not turn out as gallant and noble as Ford expected from reading the news and his dime novels.Anyway, we don't know who is paying Ford for that. There is an instruction in the pay slip: "If you manage to assassinate James within the next 2 days we will double the payslip".

Several years after the James' case was closed...This case has never left you alone. After years of searching, you arrive at an old farm in the middle of nowhere. You find the grave of the owner, somebody called Frank Dalton... His kids have inherited the land. His son looks exactly like Jesse James. This is no mere coincidence. You are positive something is amiss.
Finish
You decide to leave the case. If this grave does belong to Jesse and the whole assassination was just a coincidence, you will never be able to prove it.Anyway, Jesse has a new life. Yes he was a dirty outlaw, but he still served the country well during the war, and he will live on as a Western legend.Nobody would believe you anyway.
