My mom has accepted now that I'll be moving out. All she wants is that I telegraph her once a day so she knows that I'm doing OK. Once we are done drilling the well she wants to cook us a good meal. And we'll have a big jug of fresh water from the new well.

It's amazing how much work it is to live at your own place. It has to be possible to get some kind of windmill to turn the mangle. Also, wouldn't it be nice to get the water from the well with some kind of automatic system. You should help me build that windmill if you want me to actually still have time to fulfill my sheriff's duties. You can use my tools, but I expect them back, ALL of them.
