One of my regular customers, a gold digger known as Old Man Hackett, travels into town each month to do some shopping before coming in to enjoy a keg of my famous gin.The saloon has recently been very busy so I haven't had the opportunity to collect the berries for my brew. Could I trouble you with it? I'll pay you, of course.

I'm starting to become worried, Old Man Hackett should have been here a while ago. Perhaps something has happened to the old fox, would you mind checking in on him? Better take this liquor for him as well. Hackett has set up camp at a fireplace. It is in the mid-southern regions of the map.

(Coughs) Oh, it's you greenhorn. My cold is a little better but I'm still not feeling myself, and I'm slowly running out of food. Even I can't live on gin alone, a hearty stew is just what I need to help recover my strength. I can still cook but I don't have the right ingredients.

Oh, {PLAYER_NAME}, you are back. Have you found Hackett? Why do you look so grim, did something happen? I understand. Seems as if his desire for gold has gotten to his head, and presumably my gin too. In a way I'm not completely innocent in this mess either, so listen carefully. Hackett moves back into that mine during very cold winters, the one where he worked in many years ago. If you find him, teach him some manners. Didn't you see a mine further east of Hackett's camp?
