Hello {PLAYER_NAME}, let me introduce you to my old friend: Meet Capitán Esteban Torres from Mexico.Capitán Torres: Buenos diaz.Sheriff Fitzburn: Esteban visits me every now and then if one of his gallows bird flees across the border. He might have a job for you.
Finish
I knew that you would be interested. I'll leave you two alone, the less I know, the better.Capitán Torres: {PLAYER_NAME}, correct? Don't be irritated by John's behaviour. Our plan is not fully legal in the narrow sense but saves my deputies and the sheriffs here a lot of work.I am looking for one Emilio Vargas. He was a highly decorated general of the mexican army, until he tried to seize the power in the country. The coup did not succeed, but he was able to flee.Since then, we have lost track of Vargas, but word is spread that his adjutant, a man named Pablo Salvador, is trying to recruit soldiers for a "revolution" in one of the border towns on the American side. He is up to no good. I want you to infiltrate these self-proclaimed revolutionaries and put a stop to their game.

They say you are interested in joining the revolution. We can always use brave people, but you have to show us if you are really one of us. For starters... beat up that guy over there at the bar. Don't use weapons, we don't want to rouse attention.
Finish
That looked really painful. Well, you can follow orders without asking stupid questions.

Finish
Now that looks good. We should be ready to march soon. Come, let me introduce you to the general.

Ah, {PLAYER_NAME}! I have heard a lot of good things about you. According to Pablo, you supported our just cause with great effort. You have probably heard of my little setback in Mexico. The war... I mean the revolution is not over yet! I just need money to recruit new followers. We have a legend in my country about our ancestors leaving a great gold treasure in the mountains north of today's border while fleeing the Spanish conquistador Cortés. This gold belongs to the mexican people and what better could we use that for than our just cause?I recently acquired a map that shows us where this treasure is buried. Will you help us retrieving it, {PLAYER_NAME}?
Finish
Very well. We are meeting up south of town. We will meet a mountain guide there, Pablo hired him. They say he can smell gold.

Welcome to this expedition, {PLAYER_NAME}. You already know my adjutant Pablo Salvador, and this here is our mountain guide...Old Man Hackett: Well I'll be... that thievish greenhorn!Emilio Vargas: I'm sorry?Old Man Hackett: General, we can't trust {PLAYER_NAME}. We already had the pleasure of doing business and I barely survived but losing a bigger sum to this scumbag.Emilio Vargas: Is that so? Well, {PLAYER_NAME}, you did not do me any wrong. We have a proven method of testing the loyalty of a soldier: ride in the ammunition wagon. Oh, by the way... this might be a bumpy ride.
Finish
Enough for today. We will make camp here. Looks like the "greenhorn" is more trustworthy than thought, or what do you think, Hackett?Old Man Hackett: We will see.

According to Hackett, the lost enclave must lie in these mountains. The general has trusted me with scouting the area together with you two.Old Man Hackett: Why you, doesn't he trust us?Pablo Salvador: He is a very careful man and he has good reason for it.
Finish
Back there, that could be the ruin we are looking for!Old Man Hackett: Indeed, that should be the one. This is the end of the line for you then! Before you can react, Hackett shoots Salvador in the back, killing him instantly. While you reach down to your gun, the echo of Hackett's shot is reverberating from the rocky cliffs. Almost instantly, the sound changes into the rumbling sound of a rock slide. In the last second you manage to get to safety. As usual, Old Man Hackett has completely disappeared.

You hurry towards the ruins you have seen from afar. the Labyrinth of canyons and caves makes it hard to keep track and you would be completely lost if the sound of small explosions wouldn't help you find the way once in a while. It seems like Hackett and Vargas are already trying to get into the ruins.
Finish
A stronger explosion shakes the canyon. A short while after you turn around a corner, you find the burned-out ammuntion wagon, surrounded by dead soldiers. You can hear the echo of gunshots from the ruins. After you approach the treasure vault through blown-away walls, you see Hackett and Vargas oppose each other, guns drawn. In the middle, between them, stands an old clay jug, filled with gold coins.
