Hello, {PLAYER_NAME}, how are you today? We haven't talked for a long time, my friend. I would like to catch up with you, but I can see in your eyes that you seem lost and I feel like you need my help. Did something happen? What is it? Oh, I see... You found all these dreamcatchers and last night you hung them all on the wall before going to sleep. And now you wonder why you had the strangest dream? Ha! But let me tell you, however strange a dream may seem to you and even if it makes no sense at first, it always has a meaning. Please, tell me what you saw and I will help you understand. You decide to tell Waupee all you can remember about your dream. About the great eagle flying above you, a totem, some smoke, a big fire and someone singing a traditional Indian song. You try to imitate the singing as well as you can for Waupee, and you see the bewilderment on Waupee's face.
Finish
Are you sure this is what you heard in your dream? Yes, it puzzles me because I haven't heard that song in a very long time. It's a traditional song from my ancestors. My grandfather used to sing it on special occasions when I was a child. I don't know much about it, but you should visit him if you want to learn more. I'm sure he will be delighted to see you and happy to help you. Can you bring him this amulet for me? I promised it to him a long time ago but never found the time to visit him. Before you go, drink a mate tea with me, it will give you energy for the journey.

Waupee's grandfather: Hello traveler, how can I help you? Ah, you are a friend of my grandson Waupee and he sent you here to help make sense of the dreams you have been having lately? Ok, so you dreamed of someone singing an ancient song from my ancestors, but otherwise the dream is blurred... All you can remember is an eagle, a fire and smoke. Ok. We need you to have this dream again. If you want to better understand it, you need to see more clearly what exactly is happening in that dream. I will prepare some special tea for you which helps your mind to be more open to dreams, and we will also use some of the elements you already remember. Please go and gather everything we need for the tea and to stimulate your memory. I will start with the preparations. You follow the orders of the old man and leave to pick some berries. You also try to find other things which remind you of your dream: Wood for a fire, hay to burn for the smoke, feathers for the eagle... You bring everything back to Waupee's grandfather and he starts to brew a curious tea while you light the fire. Then you put some hay on the fire to make more smoke and drink the tea. All the while, the old man is dancing around you, singing the song from the ancestors and waving feathers at you. You fall asleep and start dreaming again.
Finish
You see several Indians dancing around a fire and singing, while another one is sending smoke signals into the sky. You also see the eagle more clearly, but it's not a real eagle actually, it is a totem close to the fire. Near this totem there is another one with a bizarre animal. You think it's a horse but it has something on its head... it looks like a horn, but you are not sure because you have never seen something like that. Suddenly you wake up. It is already morning and Waupee's grandfather is sitting near you. He asks you about the dream. You tell him the story and as he listens, you get the impression that he knows something. He has seen the totem with the strange horse before, in a Sioux village to the west. You should go there and investigate. Waupee's grandfather offers you a calumet and sends you on your way.

You follow the directions Waupee's grandfather gave you and finally arrive at a small Sioux settlement. It's the middle of the afternoon and business as usual in the village. There are children playing, but when they see you they run looking for an adult. A group of Indians comes to welcome you to their village.Indian: Hello traveler, are you lost? You are welcome in our village if you want to rest for a bit. Your horse looks thirsty. Come and follow us.You follow the group. They water your horse and offer you some food and tea. You start to tell your story and explain who sent you to their village. They listen carefully without saying a word and after you have finished, nobody says a word for what seems to be a very long time. Then suddenly a man rises to his feet and talks to you.Indian: This is indeed a strange dream you had, above all if you have never come to this part of the country. Come with me and meet the Elder of the village. He is the only one who can explain what that totem is. You see, it is sacred for us and has been in our village for a very long time, and there is a story that goes along with it.He shows you the totem and you look at it closely for a few minutes, while he explains the situation to the Elder. Then the old man approaches you.Elder: So my old friend sent you here. I will help you to understand. To do that I need you to bring me a few things. Then I will put some paint on your face and give you a potion, so you can have a vision which I want to share. Bring me some blueberries for the paint. We also need water, some coal, sugar and a jug. I have the other ingredients right here.
Finish
You bring all the ingredients. The Elder uses the blueberries to make the paint and smears a few signs on your face. Then he hands you the potion he just finished and asks you to drink it. After drinking it, you feel strange... It is as if your mind is leaving your body to go somewhere else. You finally arrive in what seems to be a forest, but you are not yourself anymore, but a young Indian. It's nightfall and you hide behind a bush near a clearing. You are waiting for something... After a while, you hear something approaching and suddenly you see it. It is a magnificent horse, the most beautiful you have ever seen. And it has a big horn on his head! You try to move closer, but stumble over something and when you get up the animal is gone. You wake up and tell the Elder what you've seen. He explains to you that it was a memory of one of the ancestors of the tribe. The animal is called a unicorn and it has not been seen for generations. He doesn't even know where the forest might be located, but he tells you that Chief Mistawasis knows and that you should go to see him. "Give him this letter from me and take the rest of the paint with you".

After a few hours you arrive at Chief Mistawasis' village. You notice a group of people who seem to be waiting for you. You approach them and learn that Chief Mistawasis has been expecting you. He saw that you were coming in one of his dreams. He is waiting for you in his tipi and you walk over to meet with him. When you enter the tipi, you see that he is not alone. Three other Elders are also present, sitting there in silence, and they seem to be meditating. Chief Mistawasis asks you to sit down on the ground facing him.Chief Mistawasis: Hello traveler! You have been on a long journey and I know what you came here for. I saw you in my dream last night. You are looking for the sacred animal that some of our ancestors have seen in the forest ages ago. The location of this forest is known only by the Elders of my tribe and myself and we normally don't talk about it. Alas, in my dream, the unicorn came to me and told me I should show you the way if I trust you. But, I don't know you. What? You brought me a letter from the Elder of the Sioux village? Ok, give it to me and I will take that into consideration. While I read the letter I ask that you collect some items for me to prove your worth, and I will tell you the legend of our ancestors.
Finish
After a while, you get back to him with the requested items. The chief is waiting for you in the center of the village, in front of the unicorn totem.Chief Mistawasis: You brought what I asked? Thank you. I read the letter from the Elder and I trust that you are worthy enough to see the sacred animal. We think it has been calling for you and that is why you had these dreams. The animal has been seen by our ancestors in the clearing at the stone circle glade. An old Indian legend says that the animal is the protector of the forest and the spirits who live there. It only comes out at sundown and loves eating lotus blossoms, so you'll need to find some if you want to attract it. Good luck, I really hope you can meet it!

Start
After a long journey you arrive at the stone circle glade. You start exploring the forest and you finally find the clearing, but it is still early in the afternoon. You decide to gather some lotus blossoms to attract the creature. While you are looking for the flowers you start to think about all this. You wonder what the meaning of all this is and why this legendary animal is calling for you. Are you losing your mind, chasing after some Indian folklore? You don't think you are going crazy at least, the dreams seemed very real and the people you met because of them really serious about it.You now have everything you need and go back to the clearing. You put the lotus blossoms right in the middle where you are sure they can be seen from any side of the clearing. And as the sun is setting, you wait quietly behind a bush, a little bit worried and afraid of what is going to happen.
Finish
You have been waiting there for a while and start thinking that nothing is going to happen. Your dreams were just dreams and the legend is not real. You begin to pack your belongings when suddenly you hear something move on the other side of the clearing. You freeze because you don't want to make a noise that would frighten the creature. You start moving slowly again and raise your head above the bushes to see what is happening. And lo and behold! In the middle of the clearing stands a unicorn! It is as magnificent as you remember it from your dream and the animal is eating the flowers. You remove your shoes to avoid making noise, and you start moving towards the creature. You are only a few meters away when it sees you. You freeze again and almost stop breathing. The unicorn starts moving, it is coming towards you. Its head is now just in front of yours, the creature is looking you straight in the eyes. You start moving your hand slowly and begin to pet it gently. The animal seems to like you. After a while it nods and points its head towards its back. It seems as if it invites you to ride it! You mount it, and it shivers, but does not attempt to throw you off. Fast as the wind, you leave the forest with your new-found friend.
